BAM Advertising & Marketing started off the year with two wins at the 2023 PRSA Renaissance Awards on Thursday, January 26. The event was once again held at PointView Hall at Carnegie Science Center on the Pittsburgh’s North Shore.

The agency took home an award in the Digital Marketing Campaign category for its work with Houston Harbaugh. Additionally, the team won an award in the Content Marketing Campaign category for its “Clean Water Playbook” email marketing lead generation campaign for Culligan Water.

Houston Harbaugh (HH) is a growing business litigation firm in the Pittsburgh area. It features a team of 40+ attorneys that frequently published articles. The company site eventually featured more than 1,200 pages of unorganized content scattered across an old, outdated UX. BAM created a clean, organized digital experience with a new web design and organized, easy-to-find directories for professionals, industry categories, and article/blog content.

Culligan Water is a global leader in water treatment, with more than 400 local dealerships across the country. While corporate marketing features an email program, most of the local, independent dealerships had not. Their strategy included blog posts for SEO and social media efforts, but email marketing was an untapped resource. BAM’s client Hall’s Water has a large presence in Southern California, from San Diego to Los Angeles. We stepped in with an idea to develop a list from scratch quickly – and a robust newsletter program for continued return on investment.

BAM leveraged a large content repository to create a 45-page e-book on clean water for a lead magnet, and distributed emails weekly to its subscribers. In just one year the program had nearly 4,000 users with a completely organic campaign.

Each year the PRSA Renaissance Awards honor local organizations, agencies, businesses, and communicators for their innovative work across all aspects of public relations and marketing communications.

BAM Advertising  has 23 employees and is in its 19th year serving clients in 34 states across the United States. BAM recently outgrew their office space and moved into its new 5,400 square foot office building at 600 Taylor Way, Bridgeville, PA. 15017.
